Break the myth about formals being just sober white/black outfits.

It’s not about ‘WHAT’ you wear; it’s ‘HOW’ you wear what you wear, that makes a difference. In general, a formal outfit for men would include a pair of well fitted pants, a classy dress shirt, a tie and a coat which is meant only for special meetings. Formal wear for girls comparatively have variety to offer which includes a pair of well fitted pants, skirts (mostly knee length,) shirts and semi formal shirts, ties, scarves, vests, coats and appropriate accessories to go with them.

What has been practiced and been in fashion for generations is the fact that formal clothes have to be of standard colors, the standard colors being black, grey, white, ash color etc.

If you are an entrepreneur, aspiring manager or belong to the corporate field, it becomes very important not only to look right but also to look the best in order to make an impression. You should make sure you define your business presence not only by quality work, but also by appearance. Some power colors will give a defining boost to your body language!

Power colors are rich, dark tones of black, blue, green, red and brown. Light colors can be powerful when they are used in monochromatic outfits especially for girls. Bright colors can go a long way when dressing for business but make sure you use them in small doses. A lot of color and many such bright colors clubbed together will lower your professionalism.

Also color blocking on garments and accessories undermine a businesslike statement. Make sure you show your power personality in business by the colors you choose to be a confidence booster resulting in good communication. Girls, make sure you look chic and sexy with experimental colors and, men, make sure you use the monochromatic light colors if you are not sure about how to correctly blend small doses of bright colors.

New trend: Gold fabric used for ties and collars!
